What to do! New Signals coming from the Mousonturm

24.04.2012

Restructure and air out! Mousonturm was taking a different shape and even went audible—through “Multiphon” a mobile radio station. On May 12, 2012 Mousonturm invited the public to a Day of Dance and in June 2012 planned to be amazed by the giant music, art, and performance festival in and around the Jahrhunderthalle. But what is exactly happening at Mousonturm? What direction is it taking? What will be carried over from before, and when will get to see the Swiss artists whom the director has brought with him? We asked Niels Ewerbeck about the focal points of his program and about what we could expect.

Niels Ewerbeck, trained as an art historian and theater director is the new director of Künstlerhaus Mousonturms. As the former director of Theaterhaus Gessnerallee he was a mainstay of the Zurich dance scene. In Frankfurt he planned to examine current debates on socially relevant issues, addressing them through thematic series and festivals.

An event organized by the Kuratorium Kulturelles Frankfurt in cooperation with the Frankfurter Kunstverein.
