Born in 1951 in Frankfurt, Dieter Buroch initially worked as an independent artist, and in 1977 he initiated the \u201cNeun-Tage-Fest\u201d (Nine Day Festival) im Mousonturm, before becoming its director in 1988. Mousonturm developed into one of the best networked artist residencies in Germany that has presented many internationally acclaimed highlights. As of 2012 Buroch will curate the Munich dance festival DANCE. <\/p>\n
