For years now Martin Conrath and Marion Krei\u00dfler have been examining the rethoric of politcal parties and, in addition, have been developing artistic stagings in response to this. As their research project entitled \u201eModel Deutschland\u201c illustrates, the range of election slogan subject matter has for decades been relatively narrow and has also hardly even been linked to any particular party. Everything repeats itself and election campaign slogans have not changed much in style to this day. They document the lack of content as well as the potential for slogans to be interchanged. In their artist talk Martin Conrath und Marion Krei\u00dfler were talking about their artistic approach and presented some of their current and former works. <\/p>\n
Martin Conrath (born 1958) and Marion Krei\u00dfler (born 1958) studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Karlsruhe and live in Berlin.
