His performance will be an inquiry of the affective, carnal, sexual, instrumental, material, and discursive connotations of life\u2013exploration on dandyism, excess, oppression, and the embodiment of capitalism. Nauha presents schizo-analysis as a device, which may be used in performance practice, performance pedagogy, or as a tool to investigate forces, which constitute subjectivities and bodies. <\/p>\n<p>Tero Nauha (born 1970) is a performance and visual artist. He has studied fine arts at the Rijksakademie van Beeldende Kunsten in Amsterdam and at present is finishing his PhD in Artistic Research at The Theatre Academy of University of the Arts Helsinki. He has presented his research at the \u2018Performance Studies international\u2019 and \u2018Performance and Philosophy\u2019 conferences. His research interests are subjectivity and performance in the context of post-industrial capitalism. Recent articles of him can be found online in the RUUKKU and JAR peer-review magazines.
