Bodies on Strike&#8221; Franziska Nori and Altaira Caldarella, a political scientist specialised in critical social theory and feminist theory, will give a joint guided tour about the new works created for the exhibition by the artists Gintar\u0117 Sokelyt\u0117 and Sonja Yakovleva. In conversation with Franziska Nori, Altaira Caldarella will talk about her corporeal experience as a participant in Gintar\u0117 Sokelyt\u0117&#8217;s video installation * (Asterix) and address her theoretical engagement with corporeality, power, material needs and feminist strikes.<\/p>\n<p>For the installation * (Asterix), Altaira Caldarella and four other volunteers answered Gintar\u0117 Sokelyt\u0117&#8217;s questions about fear, power and order mounted with ropes on a metal sculpture. Exposed to the camera&#8217;s gaze, their bodies ached from the gravity of their own weight. Sokelyt\u0117 utilises this transcendent state of essentiality to gain a deeper insight into the perceptions of society and self.<\/p>\n<p>The tour costs \u20ac5 in addition to the exhibition admission fee.
