He entered the scene through his architecture studies and his work on clubs such as Omen and XS, eventually beginning to work as a DJ and producer himself. He often worked for several clubs at the same time: when the cleaning lights came on in one venue, the night was already beginning in the next club. This experience gave his autobiography Von Putzlicht zu Putzlicht (From Cleaning Light to Cleaning Light) its title. The book brings together personal stories from Frankfurt’s 1990s techno scene—from intense moments in nightlife to conflicts, economic pressure, and difficult relationships within the scene. Today, Amir Abadi primarily works as an architect. He remains occasionally active as a DJ and producer and stays connected to the music scene through projects such as his radio show Hippy Trippy Garden Pretty.

Admission: €5, including entry to the exhibition.
