Climate change, geopolitical interests, colonial history, and the desire for cultural and political self-determination shape the country\u2019s present. The exhibition <strong>Greenland \u2013 Not For Sale \u2013 Kalaallit Nunaat Forever<\/strong> offers insights into a complex country and its people.<\/p>\n<p>Together with <strong>Ebbe Volquardsen<\/strong>, cultural anthropologist and expert on Greenland\u2019s geopolitical context, <strong>Franziska Nori<\/strong>, Director of the Frankfurter Kunstverein, will guide visitors through the exhibition. In dialogue, they will discuss the background of the artistic and cinematic works, the central themes of the exhibition parcours, and broaden the perspective on Greenland\u2019s role within the field of tension of global interests.<\/p>\n<p>Please note that the tour will be held in German.<\/p>\n<p>The guided tour costs \u20ac5 plus admission. Registration is not required.<\/p>\n<p>We look forward to welcoming you!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ebbe Volquardsen<\/strong> is a scholar of Scandinavian studies, cultural studies and political science, and works in adult education near Frankfurt am Main. From 2016 to 2025, he was Associate Professor of Cultural History at the University of Greenland in Nuuk. His research focuses on memory politics, postcolonial constellations, and processes of decolonization and reconciliation. A particular emphasis lies on Scandinavian colonial history and the relations between Greenland and Denmark, as well as increasingly the United States.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Greenland is at the centre of global change.
