Night of Museums 2026: Frankfurt am Main Queens – Hip Hop Night & Urban Culture

25.04.2026 — 26.04.2026, 19:00

As part of the Night of the Museums, the Frankfurter Kunstverein becomes a stage for female power in urban culture. In cooperation with the Diamant – Museum for Urban Culture and curated by Janina Jackson, the exhibition Hidden History – Facets of Subculture in Frankfurt Rhine-Main presents a powerful hip-hop evening featuring a stunning queens line-up that makes the diversity and vibrancy of the Rhine-Main scene audible and tangible.

Taking the stage are Dascha Reimt, Gunnpassion, Momma Rose and Janina Jackson herself — four strong artistic voices combining rap, freestyle, RnB and storytelling. On the decks, DJ Raenah delivers a genre-spanning, high-energy warm-up, setting the sound and driving the atmosphere with powerful beats as the audience enjoys the show. Female power at its best!

The evening is part of the exhibition Hidden History – Facets of Subculture in Frankfurt Rhine-Main, which brings hidden urban histories to light — live, loud and empowering. The program is complemented by two guided tours with curator Heiner Blum and artist Rushy Diamond, offering deeper insights into the exhibition and its background.

As part of the Night of the Museums, the Frankfurter Kunstverein warmly invites everyone to celebrate a night full of rap, beats and hip-hop power.
