09.08.2012

Wolfgang Leuschner, psychiatrist and psychoanalyst, formerly worked at the Sigmund Freud Institute, Frankfurt am Main and is coeditor of the magazine “Psyche.” For many years he has directed a laboratory for psychoanalytical experiments on dream and perceptual research. The results of his studies dealing with the optical and acoustic influences on dream content and the pre-conscious processing of perceptual information have been published in “Einschlafen und Traumbildung” (Falling Asleep and Dream Formation) (2011), among other publications.

In his lecture at the Frankfurter Kunstverein he presented his observations on sleep and dream events and has demonstrated where uncertain places can be found in dreams.
