The Finnish artist Mikko Kuorinki (born 1977, lives in Helsinki) works with a wide range of different media. His installations, photos, videos and performances often appear as minimal arrangements of elements and objects, telling in a very poetic way about temporal relations and potential actions within them. They are always about nothing less than the philosophical question of how we understand the world and where our place in it might be. In many of his works Kuorinki refers to literary models or experiments with materializations and systematizations of single words to investigate the relationship between subjective and objective reality.
