The work Untitled was created following the exhibition And This is Us 2023 – Young Art from Frankfurt, in which Ramon Keimig took part. It is part of the series Sugar can‘t satisfy, which was first shown at the Rundgang 2023 at the Hochschule für Gestaltung Offenbach. The series follows on aesthetically, production-wise and partly thematically from his works from And This is Us 2023 and was created as a graphic improvisation. Ramon Keimig‘s work has its roots in printmaking and drawing. He works with ink and pencil on paper, which he combines with digitally created designs. He works on hand-drawn elements with digital image and drawing programmes or reproduces them on photocopiers, laser printers and scanners in order to thematise the technical fragility and incorporate random disturbances as new elements in the compositions.

Ramon Keimig (*1994 in Aschaffenburg, DE) has been studying drawing and printmaking at the Offenbach University of Art and Design under Prof Mike Bouchet and Prof Heiner Blum since 2019. He previously studied communication design at the University of Applied Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt. His practice includes the publication of numerous art books, for example with Ultimo Mono Press, Seville (ES) and Nieves, Zurich (CH). His works have been presented at numerous book fairs. He has also exhibited at Feinkunst Krüger, Hamburg (DE) and Frankfurter Kunstverein, Frankfurt am Main (DE) as part of the exhibition project Frankfurter Kunst Vertrieb by the Magma Maria collective and most recently in the exhibition And This is Us 2023.
