The sculptures of the sculptor Sandra Havlicek (born 1984, lives in Frankfurt am Main) often focus on static objects in terms of their potential for flexibility and movement. The sculptures, which are created in a handicraft process, are made dynamic by the artist’s folding and folding, by applying paint and special patterns. Havlicek also examines the object status of art and everyday objects: the objects, which sometimes resemble suitcases, transport boxes or screens, attempt to define or recreate additional spaces within the exhibition space.
