Anatomy of Fragility – Body Images in Art and Science

Please note: Part of the exhibition is the immersive installation Evolver by Marshmallow Laser Feast. Participation in the interactive part of the installation requires prior registration. Sessions are offered every Thursday from 5 to 9 p.m., every Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., as well as on public holidays. Each virtual journey lasts 45 minutes. The experience takes place in English. Time slots can be reserved here: calendly.com/frankfurterkunstverein.
From 15 to 18 October 2025, Open Books, the city’s reading festival accompanying the Frankfurt Book Fair, will take place at the Frankfurter Kunstverein. During Open Books, the exhibition Anatomy of Fragility can be visited until 9 p.m.

Admission:
Admission: 10€ regular, 6€ reduced
Reduced admission fee for groups of 8 or more people: 8€ per person | students and schoolchildren: 4€ per person.
Free admission: for members of Frankfurter Kunstverein, of another ADKV-Kunstverein, holders of a Museumsufercard, of ICOM, of AICA-Card, of IKT-Card, for children up to 6 years of age.

Registration is required for all groups. We are also happy to offer private guided tours for your group. Further information can be found here: Education.
Please note: In order to guarantee the curatorial authenticity of our exhibitions, guided tours are only offered by our curatorial team or art mediators authorised by us. External guided tours are therefore not permitted.

How to reach the Frankfurter Kunstverein:
The Frankfurter Kunstverein is located in the heart of Frankfurt’s old town, near the Römer and St. Paul’s Church:
By public transport:
- U-Bahn (subway): Lines U4 and U5 to “Dom/Römer”
- S-Bahn (city train): Lines S1-S6, S8, S9 to “Hauptwache,” from there it’s a 5-minute walk
- Tram: Line 11 or 12 to “Römer/Paulskirche”
By car:
Parking is available in nearby parking garages, such as the “Dom/Römer” parking lot. However, due to the central location, we recommend using public transport.
