Book now: Evolver Meditation and VR experience

In the exhibition Anatomy of Fragility, visitors can explore the inside of the body as a virtual experience. The London-based artist collective Marshmallow Laser Feast has created an immersive experience. The installation Evolver was developed in collaboration with the Fraunhofer Institute for Digital Medicine MEVIS in Bremen. Raw medical data that is rarely accessible to the public, such as full-body MRI scans, MRA examinations and blood flow data from a person, form the scientific basis for this artistic work.
Evolver begins with a ten-minute audio meditation. Cate Blanchett’s voice guides participants into the calm of their own breathing, helping to slow their heart rate. This is followed by a 24-minute VR experience that transports participants into the bloodstream, the lungs and the beating heart.
Participation in the interactive part of the installation can be booked in advance. Each appointment can accommodate three people at a time. Each booking is valid for one person. A separate registration form must be completed for each participant: If you wish to book for several people, please repeat the booking process accordingly. Planning a visit with friends or family? A maximum of three people can participate in each time slot. We recommend booking early and, if necessary, splitting your group across several slots.
Appointments are available every Thursday from 5 to 9 p.m. and every Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.. Each virtual journey lasts 45 minutes. The experience is offered in English.Appointments can be reserved here: calendly.com/frankfurterkunstverein
The Evolver meditation and VR experience is included in the admission price (€10 regular, €6 reduced). You can purchase your ticket on site. Please report to our visitor services team in the foyer of the Frankfurter Kunstverein with your confirmation email at least 15 minutes before the start of your booked time slot.
If you are unable to attend your appointment, please reschedule or cancel it at the end of the confirmation email. This will give someone else the chance to participate in the experience.
