This catalog book contains self-testimonials from all artists, including those who usually evade these requirements. These self-testimonies are important as they authentically document the different approaches to the subject.

Artists in the exhibition: Robert Adams, Luca Andreoni / Antonio Fortugno, Peter Bialobrzeski, Dik Bouwhuis, Thomas Joshua Cooper, Lynn Davis, Elger Esser, Luigi Ghirri, Naoya Hatakeyama, Bill Jacobson, Taiji Matsue, Walter Niedermayr, Paolo de Pietri, Emanuel Raab, Stefano Scheda, Hans-Christian Schink, Annalisa Sonzogni, Margherita Spiluttini, Hiroshi Sugimoto, Martin Tusch”

The landscape becomes the object of observation and meditation: seascapes and riverscapes, urban landscapes and, since Lewis Baltz highlighted them, the non-places of our civilization, garbage dumps and garage entrances, vacation and mountain landscapes. This catalog is based on an exhibition that was put together for the Ursula Blickle Foundation. It is based on anthologies that deal with the theme of the body and still life and brings together contributions from 20 European, Japanese and American photographers.
