And This is Us 2025 – Young Art from Frankfurt

For the fifth time since 2017, the Frankfurter Kunstverein is showing contemporary art from Frankfurt and the Rhine-Main region with And This is Us 2025 – Young Art from Frankfurt. The exhibition, which is curated and produced by the Frankfurter Kunstverein every two years, offers artists from the Städelschule, the Offenbach University of Art and Design and, for the first time, the Mainz Academy of Fine Arts a nationally visible stage. The focus is not on an overarching theme, but rather the participants are accompanied in the conception and realisation of their very own themes in order to enable them to produce new works on an institutional scale.

The format And This is Us – Young Art from Frankfurt is an invitation to take a sensory approach to the phenomena of our time through the perspective of young artists. Once again in 2025, the exhibition aims to capture and make visible the pulse and moods of each new generation.

The exhibition format has been generously supported from the outset by the Dr Marschner Foundation, whose commitment arose from the vision of a Frankfurt citizen to keep cultural life alive for the people of our city in the long term.
