The exhibition “Trees of Life – Stories for a Damaged Planet” will be accompanied by a panel discussion at the Frankfurter Kunstverein on Thursday, January 23, 2020 from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm.
Soil, a contested common property: surface or living body?
Experts from science, economy, politics and agriculture discuss the conflict potential of the use and finiteness of this resource.
Participants:
Sebastiano Ferrante, co-initiator of the ICG Initiative (Institute for Corporate Governance in the German Real Estate Industry);
Rosemarie Heilig, Head of Department for Environment and Women in Frankfurt, studied biology, expert for environmental issues;
Niklas Sulzbach, young farmer in Oberursel with alternative soil concepts;
Prof. Dr. Willi E. R. Xylander, Director Senckenberg Museum of Natural History Görlitz, expert on soil organisms.
